How to connect to Open Ondemand

Overview

Open Ondemand is using MeluXina's credentials for login purpose : it includes the userID initially sent by email during the Onboarding process and the password set by the users during their first connection.

Please note that this part of the documentation regarding Open Ondemand is a draft version. The service is currently in development and will be available in the near future.

To connect to Open Ondemand, kindly enter the userID (u10XXXX) and its related password as per shown below :

If you have already enabled 2FA on your account, you will be prompted for a one-time code :

If you are accessing Keycloak for the first time, you will be prompted to setup two-factor authentication. For more information, kindly refer to the Keycloak section available in this documentation.

Once connected you'll be landing on the Open Ondemand Welcome page, providing a few icons as shown below :

As you can see on the above picture, you can access directly from the Welcome page to several services such as a Virtual Machine (Desktop), a Shell (Shell Access), your files (Home Directory), your 'Active Jobs' on MeluXina and some graphical applications just by clicking to the appropriate icon.
